Capabilities

The Educational Opportunity Center provides information and assistance to adults who seek to enter or continue a program of post secondary education. The EOC is a federally funded program that serves as eleven-county area in North Carolina and is staffed with professional counselors who assist students in the preparation of admissions and financial aid applications for any college, technical, or trade school - Free of charge.

The EOC staff members also present workshops concerning financial aid, college admissions, career choices, special training programs, and other topics for community colleges, civic organizations, and special interest groups upon request.

Once your forms are complete
A counselor assigned to your county will contact you
Make an Appointment with your counselor
Complete any other necessary forms that your counselor may have
Ask for help
Do you need any special assistance or accommodations?
           Do you need help on what  your career path may be?
