Office of Research & Institutional Effectiveness Mission Statement (ORIE)

The mission of the Office of Research and Institutional Effectiveness is to coordinate the improvement of the institution's effectiveness through an ongoing planning and evaluation process.

The Director of Research and Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for coordinating all planning, research and evaluation activities to provide support for a comprehensive program of institutional effectiveness consistent with the accreditation requirements of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the N.C. Community College System.

The Institutional Researcher is responsible for providing professional and technical support for the institutional research and planning efforts of the Office of Research & Institutional Effectiveness, while serving as the College’s designated data coordinator/manager to assure completion of report preparations and submissions for institutional decision making.
