Write a mission statement for yourself, incorporating the elements that would go into an agency purpose.  Remember this is not a religious mission statement (although that certainly may be a part of it) but a statement that

1)            communicates the purpose of the agency (your work and life) by summarizing its guiding principles.

2)            It is relatively brief

3)            It may identify the population you want to serve

4)            The broad goals you want to meet

5)            The values that influence decision making

6)             Your work structure

7)            Your priorities

8)            Important information about your function and direction.

 It should be between five and ten lines.

As a group, write a mission statement for the human services technology program, with the same parameters as above.
