You are very shy and have never gone out on a date.  You are 27 years old, and would like to change this, but don’t know how to approach someone to talk to them, much less ask them on a date.  You are feeling desperate about your lack of relationships.

You have been offered a great job in California, but your partner does not want to move there.  You are not sure what to do because you do not want to turn down the job but you also do not want to break up the relationship.

You adopted a two-year-old child a year ago.  She has been much more challenging that you expected and you are not sure you can handle her increasingly bad behavior.  You are not sure what to do now.  You feel guilty that you have been thinking about calling the adoption agency and asking them to find another placement.

You were suspended from work for having a marijuana joint fall out of your pocket while talking to your supervisor.  You claim you have no idea how it got there.  You were referred for counseling and told to attend Narcotic’s Anonymous meetings or you will not be allowed to return to work.

You have recently developed an interest in video poker and you find yourself becoming more and more involved with it.  You stay up late playing online and you are spending so much money that you have had to start dipping into your savings account.  You don’t really want to stop playing but you are concerned about how obsessed you are becoming.

You are a college student.  Overall you are doing well.  However, you have strong anxiety about math classes and you have a hard time even walking into the math class.  You are afraid you will not be able to take the upcoming test.

A mother is stressed because her adult son has moved back home with their baby and neither has a job.  Her husband is ion disability with a fixed income.  She is afraid she is going to really blow up with her anger at the children.

You are a human services student who is starting their internship in a few weeks.  You cannot decide where to apply and with which population you are interested in working.  You are staring to panic and stress out over this.
