Emphasis is placed on professional responsibilities, duties, and skills critical to multicultural human services practice. Upon completion, students should be able to integrate and expand knowledge, skills, and cultural awareness relevant to diverse populations.

1.  Black History Month Quiz # 1. 2.  Continued to watch Family Name, with discussion. 3.  Journal entry and submission. 1) Read chapter three in Understanding Prejudice and Discrimination and answer questions.  2) Extra Credit:  Explain the origin of the term "Jim Crow."   Remember to include properly cited references.  3) Start working on children's book on prejudice (due March 6, 2006).  You can talk with your other group members through the group pages
