The use of corporal punishment in the disciplining and training of a child varies in different cultures. Should corporal punishment be acceptable when it is a part of a comprehensive, accepted cultural practice?
In cases where choices must be made between a child’s potential physical safety and a child’s potential mental and emotional well-being, where would you place your priorities?
Should a higher standard of parenting be demanded of foster parents than of biological parents? If so, on what grounds do you take this position?
