(Please note we are working on getting a larger picture!)

Hello Piedmont Community College personnel, magnificent instructors, superb students, and inquiring website visitors, my name is Pamela Michelle Bowman and I am enrolled in Human Services Technology. In May 2007, I was nominated for the Ambassador position with the college, which is a great honor. Through this process, I had to write an essay stating what type of skills I had for am Ambassador, being interviewed by a panel of about 8 college personnel, and giving a speech about myself. After being offered this honorable position, with a scholarship I certainly accepted. My duties consists of representing the college at social events throughout the community, giving tours of the campus, and participating in various exciting events such as the Piedmont Community College President’s Breakfast and Personality.

This honor leads to the opportunity of enrolling in The Person County Leadership Class, which is coordinated by Mr. Lee Proctor. This was also a great honor. This class is about exposing community citizens, future leaders, to what we can do to improve our communities. During Leadership Person County I was honored to meet the current community leaders such as the County Commissioner, Mr. Johnny Lunsford, County Manager Mr. Steven Carpenter, the Mayor, the Chief of Police and the Superintendent of the Person County Schools
