Remember the role of each hat:

 

The white hat is neutral and concerned with objective facts and figures

 

The red hat suggests anger (seeing red), rage and emotions

 

The black hat is gloomy and negative

 

The yellow hat is sunny, positive, optimistic, and hopeful.

 

The green hat suggests creativity and new ideas.

 

The blue hat suggests control and the organization of the thinking process.
