2008-2009 School Year

May 12, 2009: Graduate celebration: Toni Clayton, Cheryl Perry and Katherine Riley organized a party in celebration of the 2009 human services technology graduates (Pamela Bowman, Jenny Bullock, Lucinda Clay, Tamberly Hamlett, Darlene Yancey). Click here for pictures of the festivities.

Fish Fry! We had a fish fry on Saturday, May 2, 2009 in the Rose's parking lot! We also had two baskets to raffle. 	March 25-28, 2009: SOHS conference, Tampa, Florida. Four students (Toni Clayton, Leann Oakley, Cheryl Perry, Katherine Riley) and two faculty (Sheri Narin, Kathy Oakley) attended the annual conference. 	March 23, 2009: Krispy Kreme Donut Sales! Thanks to Toni Clayton for organizing this and to all of the students who sold and/or bought donuts!
	February 11, 2009. Bake Sale. Thanks to Katherine Riley, Cheryl Perry and Toni Clayton (Click here for two picture) for sitting behind the table and to those who donated items, including : Toni Clayton, Sheri Narin, Katherine Riley, (and a few others to be added to the list). Also, thanks to the students for being willing to donate left over bake sale items to be used in the campus fundraiser for Barbara Hawn, the next day.
	February 7, 2009. Fish fry. Toni Clayton organized a fundraising fish fry, recruiting several family members (including her partner Mike, who started cooking at 7:00 a.m., her children Aliah, Dominique, Emile, and Vanessa and Mike's mother, Mary, her extended family and her own mother)! She was also ably assisted by Katherine Riley (whose mother also stayed all day and kept Katherine under control) and Cheryl Perry. Kathy Oakley and Leeann Oakley also assisted all day with further help from Misty Hodges and Vicky Hernandez. Kailey Oakley helped a lot, as well as Click here for great pictures! 	Saturday, September 11, 2004: Personality. Thanks to Keyana Graves, Melanie Regan, Shelley Wright and Lou Daye for helping the HST booth, assisted by Kathy Oakley, provide colors and shapes bingo, and animal bingo, as well as promote the program.
	Wednesday, September 8, 2004: Club Day. Students provided information about the program. Thanks to Charlene Wilson and Selena Thornton for covering the booth during the day, and Jamey Caudell for covering for a short period in the evening.

	Wednesday, March 24th, 2004: CARE meeting: Present: Yvonne, Heidi, Audrey, Linda, Shonda, Marcus, Charlene. Discussed fundraiser of providing food at SGA basketball tournament this weekend, planning CARE basketball tournament, cosmetology raffle, and plans for the SOHSE conference.

	April 6, 2002: Students held activities on diversity for Scouting “Take a bite out of crime” program.
	March 21-24, 2002 students and faculty attended SOHSE conference and presented workshop titled, "Working Effectively with Crime Victims," in Petersburg, Virginia.
	December 2002: Three families were adopted for the holidays, two in Person County and one in Caswell County. Items were bought for the families for Christmas.

2000 to 2001 School Year

	April 19-21, 2001: SOHSE Conference in Daytona Florida. Presented workshop entitled: “Biases in Human Services: Ours, Theirs, and Yours.”
	April 12, 2001: Bake Sale & Easter Basket Raffle.
	March 28, 2001: Sold Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

	October 14, 2000: PCC 30^th Anniversary Celebration: Games included: “Wheel of Human Services,” hidden treasure, clown toss, and coloring. Gave out info. about HSE programs & CARE.

	September 9, 2000: Had a table at PERSONALITY, and provided a fishing activity for children.

1999 to 2000 School Year

	May, 2000: Participated in Person County Mayfest, with free fishing game for children to win prizes, also lollipop game, poster about care and information about CARE , HST program and college. Also sold baked goods and crafts.
	March 16-19, 2000: Attended SOHSE conference, presented workshop titled ” Biases in Human Service Delivery: Taking a Personal Look,." and handled conference registration booth, Wilmington, North Carolina..
