Class members will role play these roles and discuss reactions to the roles. 

1) Single father with a four year old just diagnosed with juvenile diabetes and put on insulin injections three times a day.

2) An older couple with a 40-year-old developmentally disabled son.  The couple is worried about their deteriorating health.  The son has never lived outside the home and   functions at a level of moderate retardation.  There are no other close relatives.
