Online Writing Consultation

Welcome to the Online Writing Consultation for students enrolled in curriculum courses at Piedmont Community College. The Writing Centers are located in Student Success Center in G204 on the Person County Campus and K 152 on the Caswell Campus.
 
  • As a student, you may use this site to work with the Writing Consultant via email.
  • Plan to submit your writing concerns early in the writing process to allow time for adequate consultation.
  • We will respond to issues that most concern you, as you indicate below, and ask you questions about the ideas you present.  
  • Your paper will not be corrected and edited, but will include suggestions for improvement.
  • We cannot predict or guarantee your grade.
  • An emailed response to your paper will typically be sent to you within 48 hours. Since we do not read papers on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, please be aware that you must submit your paper by noon on Thursday in order to receive a response by the end of the workday on Monday.
